Southern Heights Youth Program

For Youth

SHYP (Southern Heights Youth Program): Provides youth a chance to connect with their church and community, build friendships with peers and adult mentors, have a safe space to share, and enhance their skills, leadership, and creativity as they strengthen their faith.

  • Youth 6th-8th grade: Come join SHYP from 2:00-4:00 pm. in the Youth Education Center.

    Be sure to check the church calendar for meeting dates, events and any changes.

  • Sunday Youth Education for youth pre-K-5th grade: Are welcome to join us in the Youth Education Center (downstairs) during the Church Service. Youth Education is from August 10, 2025-May 17, 2026.

  • For younger children: during the Church service, please come to the Pray Ground in the front of the Sanctuary to experience worship through art and other materials to keep them engaged and experience worship in a new way. If you need a quiet moment, you are welcome to go to the West Wing room at the back of the Sanctuary (behind AV) if needed.

Disciples & Donuts

Disciples & Donuts will take place on the 2nd Sunday of every month. We will celebrate a Youth “Disciple of the Month” and enjoy donuts with our church family!

From birth to high school, we seek to provide quality programming for children to help them know that they truly are a beloved child of God.

It is our goal to provide a safe, warm, loving environment for every child, so that they may grow in strength, in knowledge, and in love of the Lord.

It is our hope that every child who walks into this place may know the embrace of this family, the love of God, and the joy of the Holy Spirit.
