About the Mission Trip to El Batey, Dominican Republic - February 2025
This impactful mission trip created a lasting change through pouring concrete floors, planting vibrant gardens, and engaging in a sewing ministry. We partnered with the wonderful people at First Presbyterian Church in Grand Island. Through the Foundation For Peace and missionary Kristin Hamner, we were able to provide financial gifts of school supplies and other community projects. This trip was a rewarding experience filled with community, connection, and service.

Additional funds and services the Mission Committee oversees:

• Presbyterian Church USA: General Mission & Theological Education Fund

• Serving and collecting items for the Gathering Place

• Collect mittens, hats and scarves for those in need

• Collect food for the food bank or pantry

• Provide funds for a porta potty, water & garbage service for the Food Forest

• Collect items for the Thanksgiving Food Baskets at PCM

• Four Special Offerings: Christmas Joy Offering, One Great Hour of Sharing, Peacemaking and Pentecost

• Funds the Deacon Family Emergency Fund

• Funds toward Stitchers Ministry

• Support Missionaries
