A (Very) Brief Statement of Faith
We are Christian...
...we believe in the Triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), and trust in the Grace available to all through Jesus Christ.
We are Reformed...
...and always reforming. We understand that God was revealed through scripture, is revealed in Christ, and that God and God's will continues to be revealed to us through the whisperings of the Spirit. We refuse to believe that we have all the answers, but instead continually seek to better understand who God is, and what God is calling us to in our lives and in the world.
We are Presbyterian...
...we are a member church of the Presbyterian Church (USA), and are located in Homestead Presbytery of the Synod of Lakes and Prairies. Being a part of the connectual church is important to us, as we live as sisters and brothers in Christ with others outside our own walls and gather around the table of fellowship and grace with whom we agree and disagree with. We believe that the Spirit can move in all sorts of ways, even through the Book of Order and Parliamentary Procedure.
