Christian Education for Kids

Sunday Mornings 9-10am
September - May
Pre-K through 12th Grade

Our classroom spaces are located on the lower level of the building, fully accessible either by stairs or by elevator.

Our Sunday School time starts with prayer and song for all the children together, followed by time in smaller classroom groups divided by age.

The Sunday School curriculum for 2016-2017is Growing in Grace and Gratitude, a newer curriculum published by the Presbyterian Church (USA), designed to be "rooted in the foundation of Presbyterian identity where God's grace and our gratitude are the heartbeat of our faith, life, and worship; extends an invitation to discipleship that inspires children to learn and practice hospitality, generosity, and love; and reaches beyond Sunday morning, encouraging children to live their lives as an expression of God's grace."

While your children are attending Sunday School, we invite you to join with the Adult Sunday School classes: one studying selected studies from The Thoughtful Christianin the Conference Room off of the Office, one studying "What to Do When You Don't Know What to Do" in the West Wing (off of the West side of the Sanctuary) or relax for a few moments with coffee and snacks in the Fellowship Hall!

The Sunday School Program also plans fun and engaging activities for the children throughout the year. Keep you eye on our Calendar and Upcoming Events for more information!

From birth to high school, we seek to provide quality programming for children to help them know that they truly are a beloved child of God.

It is our goal to provide a safe, warm, loving environment for every child, so that they may grow in strength, in knowledge, and in love of the Lord.

It is our hope that every child who walks into this place may know the embrace of this family, the love of God, and the joy of the Holy Spirit.

“He has told you, human one, what is good and what the Lord requires from you: to do justice, embrace faithful love, and walk humbly with your God.” — Micah 6:8 CEB
