No matter what your interests are, you are bound to find a group at Southern Heights to gather with in community and fellowship. 

Current offerings include 

Adult Sunday School 
Meets every Sunday morning during the School Year (September - May), 9am-10am in the Conference Room off of the Office and in the West Wing (off the West side of the Sanctuary) Ideal for parents whose children are attending Sunday School on the lower level of the building! 

Bible Study
Sunday Evening: A weekly Bible Study, meeting in the homes of members, provides an additional opportunity to study the Bible more in depth. 
Saturday Morning: A weekly Bible Study for women to discuss and grow in faith together. 

Friendship Friday Gang
The Friendship Friday Gang is a monthly gathering of older adults (and younger ones, too), for lunch, education, and fellowship. Speakers share on a variety of topics, and laughter and joy is shared all around.  

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Continuing in a long tradition of care, the Prayer Shawl team gathers together in stitches and in prayer to create shawls that are blessed and dedicated by the congregation to be given to those in need of comfort. The Prayer Shawl team also works with woodworkers to gift handmade crosses where appropriate.

Presbyterian Women
Presbyterian Women offers women in the church meaningful ways to live out their faith in a community of caring women. PW offers monthly Bible study, regularly scheduled special events, and opportunities to engage in mission and service in and to the greater church and world. 
We currently have two PW circles, one meeting during the day at the church and one meeting in the evening at member's homes. Please contact the office for schedules and details. 

 SHPC Bookers
The SHPC Bookers Club seeks to grow in faith and in understanding through the reading of a wide variety of books. C0ntact the Church Office for the current reading selection

 Quilters
Every Tuesday, a faithful group of women come together to sew. Stitch by stitch, bonds are formed, and beautiful quilts are created.
