Palm and Passion Sunday

Holy Week begins with Palm Sunday, the day that we celebrate Christ's Triumphal Entry into the City of Jerusalem. It is also the day that we recognize that the journey towards the cross has begun, and that the week will end, not with shouts of praise, but cries of "Crucify" and cries of mourning.

Join us for this holy, complicated, and beautiful celebration as we enter into Holy Week together

Prepare for Thanksgiving this year by joining together with Presbyterians from around Lincoln as we give thanks to God at Southern Heights Presbyterian Church!

This inspiring worship service will feature preaching by Steve Pointon (CLP - Fourth Presbyterian Church) and music by the combined Presbyterian Choirs of Lincoln.

A dessert fellowship time will follow the service, and a free will offering will be collected to support the Food Bank of Lincoln.

Join us for a very special worship service on October 19th as we thank God for all of creation!

We invite you to bring your pet (or a picture of your pet, or an item that is special to your pet) as there will be a special time during the service for your pet, picture or tem to be blessed by God. Pets may be dogs, cats, birds, turtles, hamsters, or whatever creature God has given you as a companion.

This worship service will be held in the fellowship hall, and we will be receiving a special offering to support the Capital Humane Society.

Ash Wednesday Service

Begin the Lenten season with a contemplative and meditative service of repentance and forgiveness.

Service will end with the option of receiving the sign of the cross in ashes on your forehead, which serves both as a reminder of our baptism and a sign of our seeking ways to live right and just lives in the world.
